Private casting lessons are available with one of our instructors by appointment only and will be taught at our shop. These lessons are highly recommended for novices and first-timers. Private casting lessons are also a good refresher course for someone who hasn't cast in awhile or only fishes occasionally. If you are a beginner or first-time fly caster and are planning on taking a guided fishing trip this class will prepare you for your trip and help you get the most out of your guided fishing experience. Your guide will be very thankful if you have a refresher course or some background on fly casting before hitting the river. It will make for a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved. You can bring your own rod and reel or we can provide one of our rental rods for you. Lessons are subject to availability of casting instructors. 
 
Cost: $30.00 per hour/student

WHERE & WHEN: Meet at Greater Yellowstone Flyfishers fly shop at the time assigned to you. Since these lessons are by appointment only times will vary and we recommend that you book your appointment a couple of days in advance. 

CLASS SIZE: No minimums. Call for group rates and reservations.

AGES: All ages are welcome.
