POLICIES & RESERVATIONS
To assure that you’ll be fishing on the days you prefer, we recommend that you book your trip several weeks in advance. We will confirm your reservation upon receipt of a 50% deposit. Full refunds will be issued when trips are cancelled at least 30 days in advance of your trip date. No refunds will be issued if you cancel within 30 days, however, deposits will be credited to a trip during the same season if you choose to reschedule; or, refunded if another party books the dates you cancelled. As we have no control over Mother Nature’s unpredictability, refunds are not made when due to inclement weather. (Actually, inclement weather often produces excellent fishing.) Receipt of your deposit by Greater Yellowstone Flyfishers, Inc., is acknowledgment that registrant accepts our cancellation/refund policies.

2007 GUIDE RATES
We offer guided flyfishing trips on Montana’s blue ribbon streams 12 months of the year. We are so flexible that our services include half and full day float trips, backcountry pack trips, and walk/wade fishing on nearby streams. All of our trips include personal instruction by veteran guides, meals, non – alcoholic beverages, transportation and shuttle fees. Plus: One Stop Shopping. We can issue licenses, and stock our fly shop with an assortment of rental equipment, flies, and terminal tackle.
Gratuities: Since gratuities are not included in the cost of the trip, we encourage you to reward your guide’s effort to produce a memorable experience. Tips average 10%-20% ($50 - $100/guide/day), and are greatly appreciated by our staff.
Full Day Float Trips

Though float trips are available on a number of Montana rivers, our most popular floats are on the upper and lower Madison, and Yellowstone rivers. We recommend no more than two anglers per boat. Since a third angler in a second boat is charged the full rate, we encourage you to recruit a fourth person.

Our primary destinations for these trips are the Gallatin and Madison rivers, area spring creeks, and some private waters.
Half Day Trips

Half-day trips last 3-4 hours, are available in the morning and afternoon, and are restricted to waters within a one hour drive of our shop.

We also offer guided float trips on the Missouri river, which has a large population of larger–than– average fish. However, to allow for travel time, plan on spending two days on your trip.

We are the only fly shop in Bozeman permitted to offer guided fishing trips in Yellowstone Park. Spend a few days wading the park’s legendary waters and you’ll understand why it’s so famous. There are numerous access spots along the park’s roads; however, hiking or riding a horse in the backcountry offers great fishing and a wilderness adventure. We recommend allowing two or more days for a Yellowstone adventure during the park’s season, which extends from Memorial Day weekend through the first Sunday in November.
