Entomology Basics
Insects are the foundation of the sport of fly fishing. This one-day on-stream course is designed to educate students on the basic insect groups, life cycles, hatches, how to match-the-hatch and collection/preservation of insects. After completing this course students should be able to identify mayflies, caddisflies, stoneflies, midges and have a general understanding of what flies to use to match specific hatches.

Cost: $75.00 for full day course; lunch, beverages and all materials provided. Transportation not included.
DEPOSIT: A 50% deposit is required to sign up; balance is due on or before the start of the class. Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted. Deposits are fully refundable or can be applied towards a future class. Deposits will be refunded if the minimum number of students is not met or you can be transferred to a future course.
WHERE & WHEN: Meet at Greater Yellowstone Flyfishers at 8:00 a.m. Course will be held on either the Gallatin or Madison rivers.
