Intermediate Fly Tying CourseThis course is designed for graduates of our Beginner Fly Tying course or anyone who is looking to expand or improve upon their current fly tying knowledge. The scope of this course is for students to learn and apply more advanced tying techniques involving dry flies, nymphs and streamers. In addition to some of the techniques shown in the class instructors will ask for input from the students as to what types of techniques theyd like to learn or improve upon. Courses will be held once a week for 4 weeks and will be taught at the shop on Thursday evenings. Classes will begin at the shop at 7 p.m. and will last approximately 3 hours with two to three techniques/patterns being taught each night. Cost: $80.00 for Four Evening Classes; includes use of vise, tools and materials. DEPOSIT: A 50% deposit is required to sign up; balance is due on or before the start of the class. Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted. Deposits are fully refundable or can be applied towards a future class. Deposits will be refunded if the minimum number of students is not met or you can be transferred to a future course. WHERE & WHEN: Meet at Greater Yellowstone Flyfishers at 7:00 p.m. Class is approximately 3 hours long. CLASS SIZE: 4-8 Students AGES: 12 & Over PRE-REQUISITE: Beginner Fly Tying Class or some experience tying flies on your own. |
