Fishing Conditions & Comments: The Lower Madison is high and visibility is decent. Dead drifting crayfish and bow river buggers with a small bead head nymph behind should pick up some fish. Look for rising fish in the back eddies and along foam lines. Fishing the edges of the weed beds and also along the banks has been most productive. Hiking up Beartrap Canyon might be an option to find some clearer water. Also, the Cherry Creek put in/takeout has been closed.
