Firehole River Fishing Report

Fishing Conditions & Comments:
The Firehole River opened to fishing May 24th. It has been high with about 2 feet of visibility. The Firehole should continue to clear up over the next week or so. Baetis are still around but expect PMD's to soon replace them.

Fishing in YNP is closed for the season. Most waters open up for the season on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, which this year is May 24th.
