The Thorofare area of Yellowstone is the most remote area in the lower 48 states! Dry fly fishing for Yellowstone cutthroats is outstanding with fish averaging 16"-18". Along with the Yellowstone River, several smaller streams including Beaverdam, Trappers, Mountain and Thorofare creeks offer great variety. Bears, bison, deer, elk, moose and even wolves are fre quently encountered.
